Wedding LO #.....?

I am loving having these wedding photos! There are so many I want to scrap!!
I have again incorporated 3 challenges. There are so many great ideas for challenges out there at the moment.
I have started with a great sketch from Another Freakin Scrappy Challenge,
incorporated the awesome challenge to use rosettes, from The Paper Variety,
and decided that the circle bacground, rosettes, letters and ribbon flowers, might be enough of one shape for Eleni's challenge at Get Creative, to use one shape as a focus.
The 4 small rosettes are TH mini rosettes (title) and the large rosette is cut from the Ribbons and Rosettes cricut cartridge, using one of the 1" by 11" border strips, scoring and folding it. I cut it in white and then inked with blue and stamped a design with brown. There are some very cool designs on this cart.

The background is cut from the Damask Decor cart. I used the Cricut pens, first, to get an outline and then put the blade back in and cut. Saves inking edges!

I am lucky enough to be off to CHA this Friday, so this might be my last layout for a couple of weeks.
Cheers,
Sue

Card using a tag

If you enjoy doing challenges or want to get inspired then a visit to Get Creative will be just what you need! They have so many different challenges going on that there will sure be something that gets you going!
This card is for Channa's challenge -to create a card with a tag as the main feature and including lace or fabric. I love tags and vintage, so I loved this theme!
If you would like to see my tutorial for making the ribbon flower, check it out here.
Summer may be coming! We have just had our second day without rain!

Dream

I thought it would be fun to do a layout combining the requirements of more than one challenge. This gorgeous girl is my new daughter-in-law!
I am putting this LO into these challenges:
The Paper Variety; Black/White with a kiss of colour (mauve)
Southern Girls; Sparkle (all the rhinesones on the lacy punch strips dont show well on the photo!)
Get Creative: Irini 's Challenge; List 12 elements on your LO - so here goes!
1. Prima Crystals
2. Pink Paislee Mistable Journal tag
3. Glitz Designs Glitzer (word 'Dream')
4. Handmade flower
5. Hand dyed seambinding
6. Heart trinket
7. Kaisercraft rub-on (wee scallop frame)
8. Kaisercraft rhinestones (on punched lace strips behind photo)
9. Purple vellum (photo mat)
10. Basic Grey paper (background)
11. Echo Park paper (lacy punched strip)
12. Autumn Leaves stamp (flourish)

I must say that crappy weather makes great scrappy weather!! New Zealand has not been smiled on by the sun much this summer!
Cheers,
